The client serves 35+ countries around the world and has released numerous phones amongst many other products.
TestingXperts has been engaged as a QA partner to offer functional testing services for their mobile applications. The initial assignment was to comprehensively test a mobile application across various leading mobile devices in India (top 100 devices as per the market share in the last three years) to ensure the application works across all these devices. This application testing was tied to launch of a new smartphone and had to be carried out in very aggressive timelines.
As a part of the engagement, Tx team did an extensive analysis of the Android devices available in Indian market and identified the top 100 devices based on their market share to conduct testing. Tx performed testing in an accelerated timeframe to ensure the new device launch timelines could be met. Tx leveraged its in-house mobile test lab to source all the devices for testing and saved significant hardware costs for client.
Tx reported a lot of critical bugs, and collaborated with client technical teams to get those fixed rapidly. The client managed to launch the application with their new devices on time with high-quality.
