TestingXperts (Tx) partners with a leading US-based provider of personalized educational assessment services for providing functional testing, accessibility testing, performance testing and security analysis services for their business-critical applications.
The client is an industry leader and caters to multiple departments of education to develop, score, administer, and report results of a wide variety of exams. The client deals with performance assessment scoring services, developing assessment methodologies, automated essay scoring services, and providing advanced solutions for testing needs. The client needed a strategic partner having the right technical and functional skills to perform functional, accessibility, back-end load testing and penetration testing of the hosted applications which include scoring and reporting applications for both student and proctor.
As part of this engagement, Tx will analyze all the applications in-scope and devise an appropriate strategy for end-to-end testing. Tx, with its hybrid (onsite and offshore) model, will deploy a team of process advisors at the client location initially to understand the requirements of the client to identify gaps in current quality assurance processes. Tx will recommend latest standard tools for accessibility testing which involves designing checklist against the WCAG 2.0 standard also. For performance testing, Tx will create and run load generation scripts using open source tools, with load generated through the cloud to simulate up to 100K concurrent students on the system. The applications will be validated as per OWASP10 standards for security testing.
