Job Description:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive ETL test cases and scenarios to validate data transformation, migration, and integration processes.
• Perform data validation between source and target systems to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Verify ETL workflows, transformations, mappings, and scripts for accuracy and performance.
• Strong hands-on experience in ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or DataStage.
• Proficiency in SQL and database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, data modelling, and OLAP/OLTP systems.
• Identify, document, and track defects in the ETL processes using defect management tools.
• Work closely with development and data engineering teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
• Support UAT and end-to-end testing efforts by coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Generate and maintain detailed testing reports, including defect logs, execution results, and performance metrics.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and outcomes effectively to stakeholders.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or equivalent.
• Exposure to automation tools/frameworks for ETL testing is a plus.
• Ability to analyse and troubleshoot performance issues in ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
