Automation Test Engineer

Job Description:

  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Design and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases across functional, integration, and regression scenarios.
  • Perform API testing using tools like Rest Assured or similar libraries.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve testing tools, strategies, and frameworks.
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile development methodology.
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for backend validation.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Katalon or similar.
  • Conduct cross-browser compatibility and responsive UI testing across devices and browsers.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs through tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps and work closely with developers for resolution.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to test planning and story grooming.
