DevOps Engineer

Job Description:    
  • Responsible for implementing and documenting the CI/CD best practices.
  • Work with key stakeholders to understand the DevOps requirements, existing systems and applications, and drive the CI/CD Solution for assigned projects.
  • Define, design, and implement DevOps solutions which includes reference architectures, estimates, and costing.
  • Create accelerators that can help the organisation drive productivity, quality and aggressive timelines.
  • Enables the team by coaching on best practices, design and architecture principles, related technologies, implementation alternatives and trade-offs
  • Act as a consultant to the customers, suggest solutions and help them move from legacy processes to DevOps driven system.
  • Build an automated devops delivery/deployment model to enable the continuous release of software into cloud environments.
  • Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. security, privacy, SOC, GDPR, HIPAA etc.).
  • Strong Experience with DevOps Orchestration/Configuration/ virtualization /CI-CD for Azure Devops and open source devops solutions.
  • Knowledge of using ‘Infrastructure as Code’ patterns using Cloud Formation & Terraform.
  • Creating automated tooling for cloud platforms as well as monitoring and alerting purposes.
  • Experience working in containers like Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Migration of on premise workloads to the cloud.
  • Experience in microservices.

  • Strong knowledge of DevOps technologies and processes related to cloud solutions (AWS and Azure ).
  • In-depth knowledge of below DevOps tools and technologies: Jira, Git, Maven, Gradle, Junit, Jenkins,Bamboo, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Nexus, Artifactory, Prometheus, Nagios,python, Ansible, Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent communication and strong team management skills.
